Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. Dr. Izadi is a skilled and caring general surgeon, specializing in a variety of procedures. His practice focuses on intra-abdominal operations (colon cancer surgery, gallbladder removal, bowel obstruction, as well as other cancers and diseases of abdominal organs). Dr. Izadi repairs complex, recurrent and very large hernias, and offers laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, which has been shown to reduce pain and hasten recovery. In addition, he treats patients with skin cancers and soft tissue masses, as well as offers diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy for a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. Dr. Izadi obtained his medical degree from the University of Toronto, and completed his general surgery residency at the University of British Columbia.
